Great headshots not only make a great first and lasting impression, they also build trust and reinforce professionalism.

General Tips

  • Be well hydrated and well rested.

  • Have your nails neatly trimmed or manicured. Your hands may be in some shots.

  • If you wear glasses regularly, bring them and and be sure they are extra clean.

What to Wear

  • Choose comfortable clothes that fit well and make you feel good.  I can help you choose from a few options.

  • Avoid big patterns, large stripes and logos.

  • Layering is good.  This could be a jacket over a shirt or sweater over a blouse.

  • Items should be neatly pressed and look fresh and clean.

  • Solid colors, especially jewel/earth tones, are generally flattering. Depending on your skin tone, other colors can also work

  • Be aware of necklines. Bring a few options if you'd like my guidance.

  • Remember that sleeveless or short sleeved styles draw attention to your arms and shoulders. You may want to bring a few sleeve lengths to try.

We'll work together to get shots you love.

It's my job to style you appropriately and help you feel at ease in front of the camera.

It's your job to give me feedback as we go along.

The end product will be headshots that showcase the best "you."
